Michel has long held a passion for Asian culture and cuisine. In 2016 he was at the stunning resort hotel of The Datai, Langkawi for a very popular series of masterclasses. This was swiftly followed by an invitation from The Mandarin Oriental in Taipei for Michel to be Guest Chef in residence for 2 weeks. This proved to be so overwhelmingly popular they cannot wait for him to return.
Books for Cooks
A book launch is never complete without a visit to Barbara Jo’s Books to Cooks in Vancouver, Canada. The latest book launch in 2015, Essence of French Cooking, was no exception. Demonstrations of dishes in store playing to a packed house.
In 2012, Michel was privileged to be the President of Honour at the Paris Cookbook Fair, an event that he has been attending for many years. His cooking demonstration turned into a lecture in front of more than 100 professional guests.
